From the absolute price peak, note that it took 33 weeks for Lucent to finally break loose to the downside, but when it began this major downside move the multiple failures through the 200-day moving average, 50-day moving average, and the “neckline” of the head & shoulders on tremendous volume provided a very clear short selling signal
